Plantible Foods has used Elementar’s rapid N exceed® for faster and more efficient quantitation of nitrogen and protein for its plant-based protein production

Plantible Foods is a revolutionary food technology company developing a new agricultural platform to produce plant-based protein from Lemna, also known as duckweed. In order to unlock the full potential of its production processes, the company invested in a rapid N exceed analyzer from Elementar for quicker, more accurate and efficient quantitation of nitrogen and protein, and is now using the instrument to carry out more than 12,000 analyses a year.

“We previously used Elementar and found the maintenance and ease of use of the instruments attractive. The autosampler allows for continuous analysis of samples and the CO2 mobile phase is very cost-effective over traditional helium and argon systems.”

Dr Parker Lee, head of research and development at Plantible Foods
